Donna di Valiano Chardonnay IGT is made from Chardonnay grapes grown in the vineyards of Tuscany. The grapes are harvested between the first and second decade of September, depending on the climatic characteristics of the season. Harvested grapes are subjected to soft-pressed and left to ferment in French oak barrels. The wine gets its name because the women in the family Piccini always played a fundamental role, beginning in 1882.
