The MFV24 is a 24-inch heavy-duty pool filter that belongs to Emaux's MFV Max series. This series of swimming pool filters is constructed from a single, molded piece of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), known for its robust and dependable qualities. The UV-resistant plastic used in its production can endure years of exposure to sunlight, making it exceptionally durable.
Thanks to the innovative design within the Max series, the MFV24 boasts a maximum operating pressure of 2.8 bar (40 psi) and can withstand temperatures of up to 50°C. This combination makes it the perfect choice for spa pools or swimming pools that require heating.
Top Mount Design:
This 24-inch heavy-duty pool filter features a space-saving top-mount design that simplifies installation and servicing with a unique one-piece clamp system that securely attaches the valve to the filter vessel, eliminating the need for tools. The 6-way multiport valve is constructed from durable ABS and marine-grade stainless steel, ensuring the filter's non-reactive nature, making it compatible with alternative disinfection systems such as salt or UV chlorination.
To achieve optimal performance, the MFV24 requires approximately 125kg of sand. However, we strongly recommend the use of recycled glass filter media (RGFM) for attaining a pool of unparalleled clarity. By opting for RGFM, you can potentially save money over the long term, as it requires approximately 15% less media and offers an extended lifespan compared to traditional sand. The recommended media size for this pool filter is 0.5-0.8mm.
