Direction for use
1. Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of dirt, grease, oil or water.
2. Clean the surfaces thoroughly using Pipe Cleaner.
3. Use fast dry crepe paper or toilet tissue to soak the cleaner. Always use fresh and clean paper.
4. Apply the cement to both surfaces to be bonded with a dry, clean brush to give a uniform coating, with heavier coat at the pipe end. It will dissolve and soften the surfaces of the pipes and fitting.
5. Assemble while cement is wet.
6. When the pipes and fitting are assemble together, the softened surfaces mix and on hardening produce chemically welded joint.
7. Hold firmly for 30 seconds to allow initial bonding, and then remove surplus solvent cement.
8. Joint should not be disturbed for 15 minutes. 12 hours for drying time should be allowed before working pressure, and 24 hours before testing to 1.5 working pressure.
Applications:
