RIVAXORED (Rivaroxaban Tablets 15mg) contain 15 mg of rivaroxaban as the active ingredient.
Indications:
RIVAXORED is used to:
• Prevent stroke and systemic embolism in adults with non-valvular atrial fibrillation.
• Treat and prevent deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE).
• Prevent recurrent DVT and PE in adults.
Instructions:
• Dosage: The recommended dose is 15 mg twice daily for the initial treatment of acute DVT or PE for the first three weeks. After this period, the dose is usually reduced to 20 mg once daily for continued treatment and prevention.
• Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not crush or chew it.
• Precautions: Avoid alcohol as it can increase the risk of bleeding. Inform your doctor if you have a history of bleeding disorders or are taking other medications that affect blood clotting.
• Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Consult your doctor before using this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
