Indications:
RIVAXORED is used for:
• Prevention of major atherothrombotic events (cardiovascular death, myocardial infarction, and stroke) in adults with coronary artery disease (CAD) and/or symptomatic peripheral artery disease (PAD) who are at high risk of ischemic events.
• It is usually co-administered with acetylsalicylic acid (ASA).
Instructions:
• Dosage: The recommended dose is 2.5 mg twice daily. Patients taking RIVAXORED 2.5 mg twice daily should also take a daily dose of 100 mg ASA.
• Administration: Take the tablets orally, with food.
• Missed Dose: If a dose is missed, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume the regular dosing schedule. Do not double the dose.
