Cotren Vaginal Tablet 500mg contains clotrimazole as its active ingredient. Clotrimazole is an antifungal medication used to treat various fungal infections.
Indication:
Cotren Vaginal Tablet 500mg is used to treat vaginal infections caused by fungi, particularly infections caused by Candida and Trichomonas. It works by inhibiting the growth of fungi, including yeasts and dermatophytes.
Instructions:

1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap before and after using the tablet.
2. Remove the tablet from its blister just before use.
3. Insert the tablet into its applicator if it is not already inserted.
4. Lie on your back with knees bent.
5. Gently insert the applicator containing the tablet as deeply and comfortably into the vagina as possible.
6. Press down the plunger of the applicator until it stops.
7. Remove the applicator from the vagina.
8. Use the medication at night before you go to bed, as a lying position reduces leakage of the product.
9. Continue using the medication for as long as your doctor recommends, even if you feel better.
10. Consult your doctor if you don't see any progress after three days of medication.
