Decan Injection 2mg contains Dexamethasone Sodium Phosphate 2.2mg per ml (equivalent to Dexamethasone Phosphate 2.0mg). It also includes preservatives like Methylparaben (1.5mg) and Propylparaben (0.2mg).
Indications:
Decan Injection is used to treat a variety of conditions involving inflammation and immune responses, such as:

• Acute or chronic rheumatism
• Rheumatoid arthritis
• Acute gout arthritis
• Myalgia (muscle pain)
• Eczematosis (eczema)
• Allergic dermatitis
• Acute or chronic allergic and inflammatory skin disorders

• Dosage: The dosage varies based on the condition being treated. For example, for acute adrenocortical insufficiency, bronchial asthma, or serious infections, it is given by intravenous or intramuscular route in a dose of 2-10mg several times a day, not exceeding 80mg per day.
• Administration: It can be administered via intravenous (IV), intramuscular (IM), intra-articular (for joint conditions), or subcutaneous (under the skin) routes.
• Precautions: Store away from heat and direct light, at a temperature below 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
• Warnings: Use only under the supervision of a physician. Not suitable for patients with known hypersensitivity to the active substances or excipients, or for patients with certain conditions like Wilson’s disease, hemochromatosis, or severe infections.
