Content:
- Gentamicin Sulphate: 0.3% w/v (an aminoglycoside antibiotic)
- Dexamethasone Sodium Phosphate: 0.1% w/v (a corticosteroid)
- Preservative: Benzalkonium Chloride 0.01% w/v
Indications:
GENTA-DEX EYE DROPS are used for treating allergic and inflammatory conditions of the eye with superficial bacterial infections, such as:
- Conjunctivitis
- Keratitis
- Blepharitis
- Corneal ulcers
- Acute meibomianitis
- Dacryocystitis
Instructions:
- Dosage: Instill two drops into the affected eye three to four times daily.
- Administration:
- Tilt your head back and pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket.
- Hold the dropper above your eye and squeeze out the prescribed number of drops.
- Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes, and gently press the corner of your eye near the nose to prevent the liquid from draining away.
- Precautions: Ensure that any fungal infection has been eliminated before using the drops. Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface, including the eye.
