Lotifar 50mg/ml Injection contains Netilmicin 50mg/ml as Netilmicin Sulphate. Netilmicin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic with bactericidal action against many Gram-negative aerobes.
Indications:

• Bacterial Infections: Treatment of severe infections caused by susceptible Gram-negative bacteria, including urinary tract infections, respiratory tract infections, and skin infections.

• Dosage: Typically, 1-2.5 mg/kg/day divided into 2-3 doses, but follow your doctor's prescription.
• Administration: Injected intravenously or intramuscularly. Ensure proper dilution and administration technique as per medical guidelines.
• Precautions: Avoid if you are allergic to netilmicin or any component of the formulation. Use with caution if you have kidney problems or hearing impairment.
• Monitoring: Regular kidney function tests and auditory function tests are recommended.
