Probitor 20mg Capsules contain 20mg of omeprazole as the active ingredient. The capsules also include inactive ingredients such as gelatin, titanium dioxide, and quinoline yellow CI470052.
Indications:
Probitor is used to treat and help heal various conditions related to excessive stomach acid, including:
•    Peptic ulcers (gastric and duodenal)
•    Reflux oesophagitis (heartburn)
•    Helicobacter pylori associated peptic ulcers
•    NSAIDs associated peptic ulcers
•    Zollinger-Ellison syndrome (excessive stomach acid production)
Instructions:
•    Dosage: The usual dose is 20mg once daily, taken in the morning. For certain conditions, the dose may be adjusted by your doctor.
•    Administration: Swallow the capsule whole with half a glass of water. Do not chew or crush the capsule. If you have swallowing difficulties, you can open the capsule and mix the contents with a small amount of water, fruit juice, or applesauce.
•    Precautions: Avoid taking this medication if you are allergic to omeprazole or any of the other ingredients. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
