Spanjaard Engine Flush
Product Description
A powerful combination of additives for flushing an engine by addition to the old oil just prior to an oil change.
All modern motor oils contain additives to enable them to cope with the strenuous demands made on modern engines, where increasingly higher power outputs are obtained from smaller engines.
Premium grade motor oils are formulated to deal with these problems. However, as the time for an oil change approaches, the ability of an oil to cope with these contaminants is significantly reduced. In addition, because there has been additive depletion, contaminants are being formed at a faster rate. The position is further aggravated by conditions of modern-day driving, where people tend to go beyond the recommended oil drain intervals.
It therefore makes sense to flush these additional deposits from the engine when the oil is changed, by adding a concentrated additive-package to the old oil already in the engine just before the normal draining.
Applications
Spanjaard Engine Flush contains a combination of powerful additives that remove harmful lacquer and sludge deposits from engine components and keep them in suspension until the oil is drained. Spanjaard Engine Flush is particularly effective in maintaining the cleanliness of PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) systems whose effective functioning is vital to upper-cylinder lubrication.
Removal of these contaminants opens up the oil-ways; restores oil circulation to its proper level; eliminates the sticky deposits on rings and valves thereby increasing compression and removes sludge deposits thus allowing proper oil cooling.
To ensure the best results, Spanjaard Engine Flush should be used before every oil change. The product can be used in both petrol and diesel engines.
Application Instruction
1 x 375ml container will treat an engine with up to 5L engine oil sump capacity. Steps are as follows:
1. Add Spanjaard Engine Flush to the oil in the sump before the oil change
2. Run the engine for 10-15 minutes on idle.
3. Drain the sump whilst the oil is still hot.
4. Refill with new oil as normal.
