VACUUM DEGASSING SYSTEM - TABLETOP
This is a range of degassing kit combinations using standard steel degassing chambers and vacuum pumps.
The kits are supplied with all connection nozzles to the chamber and vacuum pump. If you require faster pumping times then larger pumps can replace the standard kit pump.
3 LITRE VACUUM DEGASSING CHAMBER KIT – MODEL HXADP3K4
The HXADP3K4 kit will comprise the following:

A 3 litre steel degassing chamber (156mm internal diameter and 155mm internal height)

A LC.4 rotary vane oil vacuum pump (Single stage, Pumping speed 4m³/hr, Final pressure 2 mbar)
-
Mains cable fitted with a choice of UK 3 pin plug (standard) or European style 2 pin plug (to be specified when ordering).

2 metres of clear wire reinforced plastic vacuum hose together with hose clips.

Vacuum pump oil.

The HXDP9K4 kit will comprise the following:

Please note :

Degassing water based mixtures such as Plaster, Acrylic, Refractory Cements etc can lead to problems with the water vapor mixing with oil in the vacuum pump. If you are continuously degassing water based mixtures then we can supply special pumps and equipment that will reduce or prevent the problems associated with water based mixtures. Please contact us for advice.

The volume of the chamber is not the capacity of liquid that can be degassed. Liquids can expand when being degassed and could be 4-5 times the initial volume.A suitable sized mixing bucket or container should be used inside the chamber to contain the silicon/resin to be degassed. The size of the container should be sufficient to allow for any expansion that may occur during the degassing process.
