The pesticide detection is based on the inhibition of Acetylcholinesterase (AChE) activity by organophosphorus (OP) and carbamate (CM) pesticides, and inhibition rate is positively correlated their concentration. So, inhibition rate was recognized to be a marker whether there are OP and CM pesticide residues in the sample.
The W-CHL-PR12 was based on principle of spectrophotometry and Beer-Lambert law, used to measure the change of absorbance of sample solution with time in the process of AChE hydrolysis. Then inhibition rate can be calculated.
W-CHL-PR12 Rapid Pesticide Detector contains three modules: spectrophotometer, digital management, and wireless communication. Combined used with Pesticide Residues Rapid Detection Kit, it can provide an accuracy and reliability solution to testing OP and CM pesticide residues in fruits, vegetables, tea and produce.
