Content
Active Ingredient: Teriflunomide (14 mg per tablet), a pyrimidine synthesis inhibitor.
Excipients: Includes lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, and titanium dioxide.
Indication
Used for the treatment of relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS) in adults.
Helps reduce the frequency of relapses and delays the progression of physical disability.
Instruction
Dosage:
The recommended dose is 14 mg orally once daily, taken with or without food.
No dose adjustment is required for patients with mild or moderate renal or hepatic impairment.
Administration:
Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew.
Regular monitoring of liver enzymes and blood pressure is advised during treatment.
Precautions:
Avoid use in pregnant women due to the risk of teratogenicity.
Not recommended for patients with severe hepatic impairment or active infections.
