I. Product Description
CRC Smoke Test® is an aerosol spray that mimics smoke, allowing for thorough testing of both commercial and residential smoke detectors. Unlike using the test button, this spray checks not only the battery but also ensures that vents are clear of obstructions or debris, which could block smoke from reaching the detector's sensing chamber.

III. Application and Directions
Preparation:
- Shake the can thoroughly before use.
- If detectors are linked to sprinkler systems or central monitoring, set the system to test mode before applying CRC Smoke Test®.
Application:
- Position the can 60-120 cm beneath the smoke detector and spray for 2-3 seconds.
- If the alarm does not sound within 5 seconds, repeat the spray. Be aware that some detectors may have built-in delays to prevent false alarms.
- If the alarm still does not activate, check the detector for potential malfunctions or low batteries. Note: This product is not intended for use with carbon monoxide detectors.
