TRIDIN-P Syrup contains two active ingredients:
- Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride (30mg per 5ml): A decongestant that shrinks swollen nasal mucous membranes, reduces tissue hyperemia (excess blood in body parts), edema (swelling of soft tissues due to fluid accumulation), and nasal congestion.
- Triprolidine Hydrochloride (1.25mg per 5ml): A long-acting antihistamine that blocks the effects of histamine, providing symptomatic relief in allergic conditions.
Indications:
TRIDIN-P Syrup is used as a nasopharyngeal (upper part of the throat behind the nose) and otic (link between ear and throat) decongestant. It is also used for the symptomatic treatment of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis (allergic reactions that occur at certain times of the year or year-round) and non-allergic rhinitis (inflammation of the membranes inside the nose).
Instructions:
- Dosage for adults and children over 12 years: Take 1 tablet or 10ml syrup three or four times a day as needed; do not exceed 4 tablets or 40ml syrup per day.
- Children under 12 years:
- 6-12 years: 1/2 tablet or 5ml syrup three or four times a day as needed; do not exceed 2 tablets or 20ml syrup per day.
- 4-6 years: 3.75ml syrup three or four times a day as needed; do not exceed 15ml per day.
- 2-4 years: 2.5ml syrup three or four times a day as needed; do not exceed 10ml per day.
- Administration: Take orally, with food or milk to lessen gastric irritation. To minimize the possibility of insomnia from pseudoephedrine, take the last dose a few hours before bedtime.
