Converium 300mg Tablet contains irbesartan as its active ingredient. Each tablet contains 300mg of irbesartan. The inactive ingredients include lactose monohydrate, corn starch, sodium croscarmellose, silicon dioxide colloidal, poloxamer 188, cellulose microcrystalline, and magnesium stearate.
Indications:
Converium is primarily used to treat:

• Essential hypertension (high blood pressure)
• Diabetic nephropathy in patients with type 2 diabetes and hypertension

• Dosage: The usual recommended dose is 150mg once daily, with or without food. For patients who do not achieve sufficient blood pressure control with 150mg, the dose can be increased to 300mg once daily.
• Administration: Take the tablet at the same time each day. It can be taken with or without food.
• Special Populations: For patients undergoing hemodialysis or those aged 75 years or older, a lower initial dose of 75mg once daily may be considered.
