Unitor Boiler Coagulant prevents the formation of deposits on boiler internal surfaces. Sludge is kept dispersed in small particles and conditioned to be removed by normal blowdown. In this way tube overheating due to deposits is avoided. The product is a liquid so is easy to feed to the affected area. The treatment is primarily used in conjunction with Hardness Control, but also with other Unitor chemical treatments. Boiler Coagulant can also be used where minor oil contamination has been experienced, the oil being required to be coagulated for removal by blowdown.
