Description

POWER-KOTE exceeds industry performance and environmental standards and is highly recommended for large-diameter drill collars in the most extreme drilling conditions, including geothermal wells, high angle holes, extended reach, sidetrack reentry, and horizontal drilling applications. A non-metallic, environmentally acceptable drill collar and tool joint compound. Prevents excessive circumferential make-up and assures shoulder faces mate completely without stand-off or deformation.

Applications

For extreme-service where high speed and penetration rates are present, deviated holes or directional drilling is incurred. Ideally suited for drilling jobs where high pH muds are used as well.

Not recommended for oxygen service.
