Indication

Atehexal Comp Mite is used to treat angina (chest pain) and hypertension (high blood pressure). Atehexal Comp Mite is used for decreasing death due to heart problems after a heart attack. Atehexal Comp Mite is a combination of beta-blocker and diuretics. Exactly how Atehexal Comp Mite works to decrease heart problems after a heart attack is not known.

Instruction

Use Atehexal Comp Mite as directed by your doctor.

• Do not take Atehexal Comp Mite in larger amounts or for longer than recommended by your doctor.
• Take Atehexal Comp Mite with a full glass of water.
• Take Atehexal Comp Mite at the same time every day.
• Do not skip doses or stop taking Atehexal Comp Mite without first talking to your doctor. Stopping suddenly may make your condition worse.
• To be sure this medication is helping your condition, your blood pressure will need to be checked on a regular basis. It is important that you not miss any scheduled visits to your doctor.
• If you need to have any type of surgery, tell the surgeon that you are using Atehexal Comp Mite. You may need to briefly stop using Atehexal Comp Mite before having surgery.
• Atehexal Comp Mite is only part of a complete program of treatment for hypertension that may also include diet, exercise, and weight control. Follow your diet, medication, and exercise routines very closely if you are being treated for hypertension.
• Hypertension often has no symptoms, so you may not even feel that you have high blood pressure. Continue using this medicine as directed, even if you feel well. You may need to use blood pressure medication for the rest of your life.

Drug interaction

Atehexal Comp Mite can aggravate conditions of patients with asthma, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema. In patients with existing slow heart rates and heart blocks Atehexal Comp Mite can slow heart rates considerably. Atehexal Comp Mite reduces the force of heart muscle contraction and worsens conditions of patients with heart failure. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, estrogens, sympathomimetics, xanthines weaken hypotensive effect of Atehexal Comp Mite.
