Indication

Strokan FC is a medication used to reduce the risk of stroke. It is a platelet aggregation inhibitor. It works by thinning blood, which helps to reduce the risk of blood clots and stroke. Also it can be used in combination with aspirin to prevent a blood clot from forming after a stent is placed in the coronary artery.

Instruction

Use Strokan FC as directed by your doctor.

• Take Strokan FC by mouth with or without food.
• If you miss a dose of Strokan FC, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.

Ask your health care provider any questions you may have about how to use Strokan FC.

Drug interaction

Tell your doctor if you are taking the following drugs: anticoagulants (warfarin), aspirin, heparin, or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) (ibuprofen), carbamazepine or theophylline, antacids.
