Indication
Utrogestan is used for protecting the lining of the uterus in certain women who are also taking estrogen. It is used to treat certain women who have do not have a menstrual period because of decreased progesterone in the body. Utrogestan is a hormone. It works by changing the lining of the uterus.
Instruction
Use Utrogestan as directed by your doctor.

Drug interaction
Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription/herbal products you may use, especially of: drugs affecting liver enzymes that remove progesterone from your body (such as rifampin, St. John's wort, azole antifungals including itraconazole, certain anti-seizure medicines including carbamazepine/phenobarbital/phenytoin).
