Indication
Symptomatic treatment of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis & alkylosing spondylitis in patients at risk of developing NSAID-associated gastric &/or duodenal ulcers.
Instruction
Vimovo must be swallowed whole with water and not split, chewed or crushed.
It is recommended that Vimovo is taken at least 30 min prior to food intake
Drug interaction
Antiretroviral agents (eg, saquinavir, atazinavir, nelfinavir), aspirin, ciclosporin & tacrolimus, diuretics (eg, furosemide, thiazides), SSRIs, corticosteroids, ACE-inhibitors, digoxin, lithium, methotrexate, sulphonylureas, hydantoins, clopidogrel, anticoagulants (eg, warfarin, dicumarol), beta blockers, probenecid; drugs with gastric pH-dependent absorption.
