Active Ingredient

• Contains 100 /mg doxycycline (as hydrochloride or hyclate depending on formulation) per capsule, which is a broad-spectrum tetracycline-class antibiotic

Indications

• Respiratory tract infections (e.g. Mycoplasma pneumoniae, Klebsiella, Streptococcus pneumoniae)
• Genital, rectal, and ocular infections from Chlamydia, Ureaplasma
• Skin infections such as acne
• Some rickettsial diseases (e.g. typhus, Q fever), brucellosis, cholera, relapsing fever, actinomycosis, and travel related diarrhoea/malaria prophylaxis

Instructions for Use

1. Take one capsule with a full glass of water (≈ /240 /ml); do not chew, crush, or open the capsule
2. Do not take with milk, dairy products, or antacids within 1–2 hours before or after the dose, as calcium, magnesium, iron, or bismuth can impair absorption.
3. Standard adult dosing: 200 /mg on day 1 (typically 100 /mg twice daily), then 100 /mg once or twice daily as directed by a physician. Course durations vary by infection (e.g. 7 days for chlamydia, longer for some systemic infections)
