Content

• Active ingredient: Metoclopramide hydrochloride 10 /mg per tablet, a dopamine D receptor antagonist with antiemetic and gastrointestinal motility-enhancing properties

• Prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting due to chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, drug therapy, or diagnostic procedures
• Treatment of gastroparesis (delayed gastric emptying), particularly in diabetic patients
• Management of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) when response to other therapies is inadequate

• Adults: Take one 10 /mg tablet orally 30 /minutes before meals, up to 3–4 times daily (e.g. before breakfast, lunch, dinner, and bedtime); follow physician’s instructions regarding duration
• Children: Dosage based on body weight—typically 2.5–5 /mg three times daily; maximum 0.5 /mg/kg/day
• Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not chew, crush, or break it
• Duration: Intended for short-term use only, generally not exceeding a few days, to reduce risk of tardive dyskinesia or extrapyramidal side effects
