Migraine
Instruction
Adult 2 tab at 1st warning of attack, then 1 tab at ½-hourly intervals. Subsequent attacks: Initial dose may be increased to 3 tab. Max: 6 tab daily & 10 tab weekly.
Drug interaction
Elevated exposure to ergotamine & ergot toxicity w/ macrolides, HIV protease or reverse transcriptase inhibitors, azole antifungals. Vasospastic reactions w/ propranolol. Enhanced vasoconstriction w/ vasoconstrictor agents, sumatriptan & other 5HT1 receptor agonist.
