Indication
Pancreatic exocrine insufficiency, caused by example, cystic fibrosis, chronic pancreatitis, pancreatectomy, total gastrectomy, gastric partial resections (Billroth I/II), ductal obstruction from neoplasm. Late allograft pancreatitis and pancreatic exocrine insufficiency in the elderly.
Instruction
Should be taken with food: Swallow whole or open cap and mix granules with soft food. If mixed with soft food, swallow the mixt straight w/o chewing.
Drug interaction
Antacids should not be taken concomitantly with Creon 10000 as the alkaline pH may destroy the enteric coating.
