Indication
Inflammatory and degenerative forms of rheumatism: RA, juvenile RA, ankylosing spondylitis, OA and spondylarthritis, painful syndromes of the vertebral column, non-articular rheumatism; acute attacks of gout; post-traumatic and post-op pain, inflammation and swelling; primary dysmenorrhoea.
Instruction
Supp for rectal use only. Childn <14 yr 12.5 mg.
Drug interaction
Raised plasma conc of lithium and digoxin. Decreased antihypertensive effects of diuretics, β-blockers and ACE inhibitors. Increased serum K levels with K-sparing drugs. Increased frequency of GI effects with other systemic NSAIDs and corticosteroids. Increased risk of bleeding with anticoagulants and antiplatelet agents. Increased risk of GI bleeding with SSRIs. Increased methotrexate toxicity and cyclosporin nephrotoxicity.
