Latanoprost
Indication
Reduction of elevated IOP in patients w/ open-angle glaucoma, chronic angle closure glaucoma & ocular HTN; in ped patients w/ elevated IOP & ped glaucoma.
Instruction
1 drop in the affected eyes once daily. Optimal effect is obtained when administered in the evening.
Drug interaction
Additive effect w/ timolol, dipivalyl epinephrine, acetazolamide & partly additive w/ pilocarpine. Prostaglandin, prostaglandin analogues or derivatives.
