Indication
Advanced soft tissue sarcoma after failure of anthracyclines & ifosfamide. Relapsed platinum-sensitive ovarian cancer in combination w/ pegylated liposomal doxorubicin (PLD).
 
Instruction
Soft tissue sarcoma 1.5 mg/m² IV infusion over 24 hr w/ a 3-wk interval between cycles. Ovarian cancer 1.1 mg/m² as 3 hr IV infusion immediately after PLD 30 mg/m² every 3 wk.
 
Drug interaction
Potent CYP3A4 inhibitors (oral ketoconazole, fluconazole, ritonavir, clarithromycin, aprepitant; dexamethasone; potent CYP3A4 inducers (rifampicin, phenobarb, St. John's wort); P-gp inhibitors (cyclosporine, verapamil).
