Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride/Ammonium Chloride (12.5mg/125mg per 5ml)
Indication
indicated for the control of cough, nasal (nose) congestion, sneezing, lachrymation (flow of tears) and airway congestion due to common cold and allergic conditions.
Instruction
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you. You should check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Take this medicine only by mouth.
Adult: One to two teaspoonfuls (5- 10ml), three to four times daily. Children (2-12 years) 2.5-5ml three to four times daily or 5mg per kg bodyweight in divided doses.
Drug interaction
Always inform your doctor and pharmacist if you are taking any other medicines, including herbal tonics, supplements and medicines that you buy without prescription. Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking: Barbiturates, hypnotics, anxiolytic sedatives, Opioid analgesics, Antipsychotics, Monoamine oxidase inhibitors
