Lovir 800mg Tablet is indicated for:
Treatment of herpes simplex virus infections of the skin and mucous membranes, including initial and recurrent genital herpes.
Suppression (prevention of recurrence) of recurrent herpes simplex infections in immunocompetent patients.
Prophylaxis of herpes simplex infections in immunocompromised patients.
Treatment of varicella (chickenpox) and herpes zoster (shingles) infections.
Management of patients with severe AIDS who have a CD4 count of less than 50/µL.
Dosage: As prescribed by your healthcare provider.
Administration: Take orally, with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole; do not chew or crush.
Consistency: Take at the same time each day to help remember.
Missed Dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it's almost time for your next dose. Do not double doses.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children
