Donepezil HCl
Indication
Mild, moderate & severe Alzheimer's dementia.
Instruction
May be taken with or without food: Take at bedtime. Place tab on the tongue & allow to disintegrate before swallowing w/ or w/o water.
Drug interaction
Inhibited metabolism by ketoconazole, quinidine, itraconazole, erythromycin, fluoxetine. Reduced levels by rifampicin, phenytoin, carbamazepine, alcohol. Interfered w/ medications having anticholinergic activity. Synergistic activity w/ succinylcholine, other neuromuscular blockers or cholinergic agonists, β-blockers.
