Fluticasone propionate
Indication
Prophylaxis of asthma.
Instruction
Adult & childn >16 yr Mild asthma 100-250 mcg bd. Moderate asthma 250-500 mcg bd. Severe asthma 500-1,000 mcg bd. Childn ≥4 yr 50-200 mcg bd, 1-4 yr 100 mcg bd administered via paed spacer w/ face mask.
Drug interaction
Potential for increased systemic exposure by ketoconazole. Increased plasma conc by ritonavir.
