Salmeterol 25 mcg, fluticasone propionate 50 mcg.
Indication
Regular treatment of COPD including chronic bronchitis & emphysema. Evohaler Regular treatment of reversible obstructive airway disease (ROAD) including asthma in childn & adult.
Instruction
Evohaler ROAD Adult & adolescent ≥12 yr 2 inhalations of Seretide 25/50, 25/125 or 25/250 bd. Childn ≥4 yr 2 inhalations of Seretide 25/50 bd. For ROAD, where the control of symptoms is maintained w/ Seretide bd, titration to the lowest effective dose could include once daily Seretide. COPD Adult 2 inhalations of Seretide 25/125 to 25/250 bd.
Drug interaction
Avoid use w/ selective & non-selective β-blockers. Increased fluticasone propionate plasma conc by ritonavir. Potential for increased systemic exposure by ketoconazole.
