Regular treatment of asthma in adults and children aged 4 years and older.
Treatment of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), including chronic bronchitis and emphysema.
Dosage:
Adults and adolescents (12 years and older): Two inhalations of 25 mcg salmeterol and 125 mcg fluticasone propionate twice daily.
Children (4 years and older): Two inhalations twice daily.
How to Use:
Shake the inhaler well before use.
Exhale slowly away from the inhaler.
Place the mouthpiece between your teeth without biting, seal lips tightly.
Inhale deeply while pressing down on the inhaler to release a dose.
Hold your breath for 5 to 10 seconds or as long as comfortable.
Exhale slowly. Repeat if needed.
Replace the inhaler cap after use.
Precautions:
Not for acute asthma attacks — use a fast-acting bronchodilator instead.
Stop use and consult your doctor if you experience paradoxical bronchospasm.
Inform your doctor if you have heart problems, high blood pressure, are pregnant, or breastfeeding.
