Chlorpheniramine maleate
Indication
Allegic conditions including hay fever, urticaria, angioedema, vasomotor rhinitis, allergic eczema, atopic & contact dermatitis, drug & serum reactions, insect bites, pruritus.
Instruction
May be taken with or without food.
Drug interaction
May enhance sedative effect of hypnotics, anxiolytics, sedatives, opioid analgesics and neuroleptics. May inhibit phenytoin metabolism which may lead to phenytoin toxicity. Potentially Fatal: Increased anticholinergic effects with MAOIs.
