Adempas 0.5 mg Film-coated Tablet contains riociguat, a soluble guanylate cyclase (sGC) stimulator.
Indications:

• Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Hypertension (CTEPH): Used to treat adults with persistent or recurrent CTEPH after surgical treatment or inoperable CTEPH to improve exercise capacity and WHO functional class.
• Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH): Used to treat adults with PAH to improve exercise capacity, WHO functional class, and delay clinical worsening.

• Dosage: Start with 0.5 mg taken three times a day. The dose may be increased by 0.5 mg at intervals of no sooner than 2 weeks, up to a maximum of 2.5 mg three times a day.
• Administration: Take the tablet orally with water. Tablets may be crushed and mixed with water or soft foods for patients who have difficulty swallowing.
• Precautions: Do not use Adempas if you are pregnant. Females of reproductive potential should exclude pregnancy before starting treatment and use effective contraception during treatment and for one month after discontinuation. Avoid use with nitrates, nitric oxide donors, phosphodiesterase inhibitors, and other soluble guanylate cyclase stimulators.
• Storage: Store below 30°C, away from moisture and heat.
