Each tablet contains:
Ezetimibe: 10 mg
Indications:
Primary Hypercholesterolemia: Used alone or with a statin to lower elevated total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, and triglycerides, and to increase HDL cholesterol in patients with primary (heterozygous familial and non-familial) hypercholesterolemia.
Homozygous Familial Hypercholesterolemia (HoFH): Used with a statin to reduce cholesterol levels in patients with HoFH.
Homozygous Sitosterolemia (Phytosterolemia): Used to reduce elevated sitosterol and campesterol levels in patients with homozygous sitosterolemia.
Instructions:
Dosage: The recommended dose is one 10 mg tablet once daily.
Administration: Take the tablet with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with water. It is important to continue following a cholesterol-lowering diet while taking this medication
