Each film-coated tablet contains:
Saxagliptin: 5 mg
Indications:
Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus: Used as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It is not recommended for the treatment of type 1 diabetes mellitus or diabetic ketoacidosis2.
Instructions:
Dosage: The recommended dose is 5 mg taken orally once daily. For patients with moderate or severe renal impairment, or end-stage renal disease, the recommended dose is 2.5 mg once daily3.
Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with water. It can be taken with or without food. Follow your doctor's instructions regarding the timing and duration of the medication2.
