Axcel Atenolol 50mg Tablets contain the active ingredient atenolol. Each tablet contains 50 mg of atenolol.
Indications:
Axcel Atenolol is used for the treatment of:
Hypertension (High Blood Pressure): Helps to control high blood pressure.
Angina Pectoris (Chest Pain): Manages chest pain by reducing the heart's workload.
Arrhythmias (Irregular Heartbeat): Controls irregular heartbeat.
Myocardial Infarction (Heart Attack): Used in the early and late intervention of heart attacks.
Instructions:
Dosage:
Hypertension: The usual dose is 50-100 mg once daily.
Angina Pectoris: The usual dose is 100 mg once daily or 50 mg twice daily.
Arrhythmias: The usual dose is 50-100 mg once daily.
Post-Myocardial Infarction: Initially, 50 mg is given 15 minutes after an intravenous injection, followed by another 50 mg tablet 12 hours later, and then 100 mg once daily thereafter.
Administration:
Take the tablet with a full glass of water.
It can be taken with or without food.
Missed Dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next dose at the regular time. Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.
