Hovid-Lambivir Tablet 150mg/300mg contains the active ingredients lamivudine and zidovudine. Each tablet contains 150 mg of lamivudine and 300 mg of zidovudine.
Indications:
Hovid-Lambivir is used for the treatment of:
HIV Infection: In combination with other antiretroviral medicines to treat Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infected adults and children.
Instructions:
Dosage:
Adults, adolescents, and children weighing at least 25 kg: The usual dose is 300 mg of lamivudine and 600 mg of zidovudine daily, administered as either 150 mg/300 mg twice daily or 300 mg/600 mg once daily.
Children weighing less than 25 kg: The dose will be adjusted according to body weight by the doctor.
Administration:
Swallow the tablet whole with some water.
It can be taken with or without food.
Missed Dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next dose at the regular time. Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.
