Imiquad Cream (Imiquimod Cream USP 5% w/w) contains the active ingredient imiquimod. Each 0.25 gm single-use sachet contains 12.5 mg of imiquimod (5.00% w/w).
Indications:
Imiquad Cream is used for the treatment of:
External Genital and Perianal Warts (Condyloma Acuminata): In adults.
Actinic Keratosis: Clinically typical, nonhyperkeratotic, nonhypertrophic actinic keratoses on the face or scalp in immunocompetent adults.
Superficial Basal Cell Carcinoma: Histologically confirmed, primary superficial basal cell carcinoma in adults.
Instructions:
Dosage:
External Genital and Perianal Warts: Apply once daily before bedtime, three times a week (e.g., Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) until total clearance or for up to 16 weeks.
Actinic Keratosis: Apply once daily before bedtime, two times a week for 16 weeks.
Superficial Basal Cell Carcinoma: Apply once daily before bedtime, five times a week for 6 weeks.
Administration:
Clean and dry the affected area before applying the cream.
Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected area and gently rub it in.
Wash your hands after applying the cream.
Leave the cream on the skin for approximately 8 hours, then wash the area with mild soap and water.
Missed Dose: If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and apply the next dose at the regular time. Do not apply extra cream to make up for the missed dose.
