Itrazol Capsule contains the active ingredient itraconazole. Each capsule contains 100 mg of itraconazole.
Indications:
Itrazol is used for the treatment of:
Gynecological Infections: Vulvovaginal candidosis.
Dermatological/Ophthalmological Infections: Pityriasis versicolor, dermatomycosis, fungal keratitis, and oral candidosis.
Onychomycosis: Caused by dermatophytes and/or yeast.
Systemic Mycoses: Systemic aspergillosis and candidosis, cryptococcosis (including cryptococcal meningitis), histoplasmosis, sporotrichosis, paracoccidioidomycosis, blastomycosis, and other rarely occurring systemic or tropical mycoses2.
Instructions:
Dosage:
Vulvovaginal Candidosis: 200 mg twice daily for 1 day or 200 mg once daily for 3 days.
Pityriasis Versicolor: 200 mg once daily for 7 days.
Dermatomycosis: 200 mg once daily for 7 days or 100 mg once daily for 15 days. Highly keratinized regions may require 200 mg twice daily for 7 days or 100 mg daily for 30 days.
Oral Candidosis: 100 mg once daily for 15 days.
Fungal Keratitis: 200 mg once daily for 21 days.
Administration:
For optimal absorption, take Itrazol capsules immediately after a full meal.
Swallow the capsules whole.
Missed Dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next dose at the regular time. Do not take extra medicine to make up for the missed dose.
