Ketozol Shampoo 2% contains the active ingredient ketoconazole. Each mL of the shampoo contains 20 mg of ketoconazole.
Indications:
Ketozol Shampoo is used for the treatment of:
Dandruff: Helps to reduce flaking, scaling, and itching associated with dandruff.
Seborrheic Dermatitis: Treats red, flaky, and itchy skin on the scalp and other parts of the body.
Tinea Versicolor: A fungal infection that causes discolored patches on the skin.
Instructions:
Dosage:
Adults and Adolescents: Apply the shampoo to the affected area and leave it on for 3-5 minutes before rinsing. Use twice weekly for 2-4 weeks for treatment. For preventive treatment, use once weekly or once every two weeks.
Administration:
Wet your scalp and apply a small amount of the shampoo to the scalp.
Leave the shampoo on the scalp for 3-5 minutes.
Rinse thoroughly with water.
Missed Dose: If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and apply the next dose at the regular time. Do not apply extra shampoo to make up for the missed dose.
