QVAR 100 Inhaler contains the active ingredient beclomethasone dipropionate. Each inhalation delivers 100 mcg of beclomethasone dipropionate.
Indications:
QVAR Inhaler is used for the treatment of:
Asthma: Helps manage and prevent asthma symptoms by reducing inflammation in the airways.
Instructions:
Dosage: Follow the dosage prescribed by your doctor. The usual dose for adults and children over 12 years is 1 to 2 inhalations twice daily.
Administration:
Remove the mouthpiece cover by unclipping it from the back.
Shake the inhaler well before each use.
Breathe out fully, place the mouthpiece in your mouth, and close your lips around it.
Press down on the canister while breathing in slowly and deeply through the mouthpiece.
Hold your breath for about 10 seconds, then breathe out slowly.
Replace the mouthpiece cover after use.
Missed Dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next dose at the regular time. Do not take extra doses to make up for the missed dose.
