TASTING NOTES
Colour: Bright deep purple to dark ruby color, often with violet hues.
Aroma: Blackberry, cassis, plum, and occasionally cherry are layered over spice notes such as gray pepper, vanilla, toasted oak, cardamom, and gentle liquorice.
Palate: Full-bodied yet fresh, with a well-balanced backbone of fruit and acidity, and a mineral undercurrent adding tension. Flavors echo the nose: juicy blackberry, raspberry, cassis, with mid-palate notes of graphite, tonka bean, almond, and subtle liquorice, vanilla, and soft spices. Tannins are firm and structuring, though not aggressive—providing grip without overpowering.
Finish: Smooth and lingering, often with oak derived notes of toast or chocolate.
