How does Alfa Laval LKC UltraPure Valve work?
This LKC UltraPure Non-return Valve operates based on pressure differentials. When the inlet pressure surpasses the spring force, the valve opens, allowing forward flow. If the pressure drops or attempts to reverse, the spring and backpressure work together to keep the valve tightly closed which eliminates the risk of contamination. When installed in vertical lines, the one-way check valve requires a differential pressure of approximately 6 kPa (0.06 bar) to open.
