Description
The ESR 50 AX25 -ST provides an axial deflection especially for brush applications combined with the ability to monitor the tool bit and/ or the wear of the brush by collision sensors.
The spindle is equipped with two inductive sensors. The first sensor reports on the axial travel of the spindle if the brush is in contact to a surface. This allows the robot to adjust its movement automatically and guarantees a steady contact of the brush on the surface over the complete brush life cycle.
The second sensor reports the maximum axial travel of the spindle. This protects the tool from a crash. The sensors make programming easier and avoid process failures and downtime of the system.
