What "Practical Classics" magazine say..."Best Buy"
"If you've come to the conclusion that 150mm workshop vices are generally mediocre at best, then this one from Senator should help change your view. For starters it has a massive 223mm jaw opening, the screw allows the moving jaw to get there very quickly and there are no delays when you come to wind it back in. The throat is 108mm – 21mm deeper than the nearest rival and it features a pair of stepped pipe jaws inside. This is a very practical design indeed. The anvil is the third largest in this test and at 91mm x 91mm is going to be genuinely useful in the workshop – there's no tokenism with this bit of kit. The finish on our test sample was excellent with straight, burr-free edges and a paint finish every bit as sturdy as the 21kg vice it covers. This is a great all-round vice for the classic car workshop."
